Aloha!
I live on the Big Island of Hawai'i, in the Puna District, Paradise Park to be specific. This picture was taken at fellow HUB members Robin and Chris's home on the coast here in Paradise Park. We were celebrating Chris' birthday. The photo was taken by Cathy Drew, also a fellow HUB Member and a fantastic photographer! You can find Cathy's work here at http://www.soulessenceart.com/
I've been involved with HUB, since the Pre-Launch period and I am a founding Arc Angel.
Some of my interests are: Mahayana Buddhism, I am a member of the sangha at the Wood Valley Temple in Pahala, Hawaii - www.nechung.org I am interested in Zen and Big Mind Process, I sit zazen once a week. I practice Yoshokai Aikido, Integral Theory and Practice (ILP), I love photography and ocean kayaking. I play the yidaki (didjeridoo) some percussion, such as udu and frame drum, Huaca (double chambered ocarina) shao and Native American flutes. I like to experiment with making musical instruments as well, especially things that children can make and play.
As for “work”, I am the IS & IT Director at my family’s business here in Hawaii (we sell commercial greenhouses) and I also do some contract work for Hawaiian Telcom. I am a massage therapist and 3rd. level Reiki Practitioner, these last two I consider my “real” calling. I am also interested in learning to give Diksha, or the Oneness Blessing as it is called in the West.
If you are planning a trip to Hawaii, by all means, drop me an email. I would love to introduce you to the East Side of the Big Island of Hawaii! If that email link does not work with your computer's set up, you can find my email address at the HUB: Hawaii website below.

Music I enjoy:
Anything with good percussion and a solid didj. For example, all of Stephen Kent's works. Eda Maxym. Jazz, Kirtan (Jai Uttal my favorite!) Music of India and Nepal. Hmm, so much more, perhaps I should just say I am not fond of Rap, most Metal, Ragae, Jawaiian, Hip-Hop with the exception of Saul Williams who is Brilliant. I enjoy indigenous and first nation music/songs that tell a story or impart wisdom.
Books I am currently reading:
"Integral Consciousness and the Future of Evolution" by Steve McIntosh. Watch the interview by What Is Enlightenment? Magazine executive editor, Carter Phipps.

Here is something I found recently that fits in with the philosophy of many of the HUB members I've met. This is Andrew Coehn speakiing on Evolutionary Enlightenment. I think many of you will resonate with this talk.
